John grew up in Radnor, Township and with his brother Ken, has owned and operated Dewey Homes in the Pennsylvania suburbs of Philadelphia since 1990. In 2001, Dewey
Companies, LP was formed and John now serves as the Managing Partner. Dewey Companies has majority ownership interests in Dewey Homes, Dewey Commercial Investors and Radnor Associates. Today, these companies are actively involved in the acquisition, development, sale, leasing and ownership of various types of residential and
commercial real estate through the operation of these affiliate companies throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Prior to the formation of Dewey Homes, John worked for eight years with Rouse & Associates, (currently Liberty Properties Trust), as Managing General Partner of their Montgomery/Bucks County regional office. In this capacity he oversaw the land acquisition, entitlement process, land development and construction process, leasing and property management, and asset management and asset disposition process for the acquisition and development of over 2,500,000 SF of commercial, (office and industrial), real estate assets.

John is a Past-President of the Chester/Delaware County Homebuilders Association, is a Director of the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA), is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry and is active on other corporate boards and in many charitable endeavors.

John has a BS – Environmental Conservation, University of Colorado. 1981
